The Melrose Police Department is investigating a report of lewdness that occurred on Thursday evening October 3rd 2013 at approximately 9:15pm on Laurel Street in Melrose.

The reporting parties state they were walking on Laurel Street near Gooch Street when they were approached by a male who exposed himself while walking toward them, asking them if he could speak to them.

The two female victims screamed and fled, they state the suspect also fled on foot west bound on Laurel Street.

The suspect is described as 5’8″ tall, approximately 160 lbs with dark curly hair and light complexion.  The suspect was described as wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black jeans and sneakers.
