MELROSE — The Melrose Police Department wishes to inform residents that aerial photography with the use of a drone will occur Saturday, and there is no cause for concern for anyone who may observe the drone. 

Community members in the area surrounding Ell Pond may notice a drone on Saturday, May 14. An individual authorized by the city will be using the drone to take aerial photos in the area.

Use of the drone is dependent on weather conditions, but its flight is expected to take place mid-morning.
