Following last night’s storm, the Melrose Police Department responded to several reports of downed trees and power lines throughout the city.

Around 7:40 a.m., Melrose Police responded to East Emerson Street at Bellevue Avenue for a report of a fallen tree on a motor vehicle.

Residents also reported sporadic power outages.
