The Melrose Police Department will host its monthly community meeting next week on opioids.

  • Recovery specialists

WHAT:

As part of the Melrose Police Department’s monthly community policing initiative, the May meeting will be focused on opioids and providing resources to the public on how they can get loved ones the help they need to recover.

District Attorney Ryan will speak about warning signs and offer practical suggestions on how to help those struggling with addiction.

Representatives from Cataldo Ambulance will give an overview about Narcan and provide a training for attendees.

Information and resources will also be available at the meeting, which is free and open to attend.
