As of 8 a.m. Saturday, approximately 1,000 Melrose residents remain without power.

Chief Michael Lyle asks that any resident who has concerns or may have concerns about their friends, family, or neighbors to call the Melrose Police Department at 781-665-1212.

Of course, anyone experiencing an emergency should always call 911 anytime.
