MELROSE — It’s been a long and fulfilling ride, but after 37 years with the Melrose Police Department, Officer William O’Donnell hung up his hat — which he was known to wear even when driving in his cruiser — last week.
As of 8 a.m. Saturday, approximately 1,000 Melrose residents remain without power. Chief Michael Lyle asks that any resident who has concerns or may have concerns about their friends, family, or neighbors to call the Melrose Police Department at 781-665-1212. Of course, anyone experiencing an emergency should always call 911 anytime.
MELROSE — Chief Michael L. Lyle and the Melrose Police Department have received several reports of storm-related damage, and first responders along with city officials are working to ensure residents remain safe during the ongoing nor’easter.
