The Melrose Police Department invites the community to partake in the Melrose Footprints 5K Series — a run to raise awareness about the disease of addiction and support recovery for those seeking treatment. Members of the Melrose Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and B4 Solutions are organizing the event.

The run will take place on June 5 at 9 a.m.

Early registration deadline is May 10.
