On Wednesday October 31, 2012 12:00 hours the Melrose Police Department Detective Bureau, along with Agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, executed an arrest warrant for a male party while conducting an investigation involving a residence at 44 Hurd Street Melrose. Coupled with the warrant this party was also charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin), possession of intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine) and two distribution charges within a school zone.

In addition to this arrest, Police and Agents executed a search warrant of the premises at 44 Hurd Street, Unit 1R Melrose. During the execution of the search warrant issued in relation to an ongoing investigation involving the residence, a second warrant arrest was made. Charges on the warrant for the second party include possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine) within a school zone.
